TherapyCRM

Release notes

New features, improvements and fixes in each TherapyCRM release.

v1.0.69 ·

Meet TherapyCRM Kiosk

The front-desk app is now TherapyCRM Kiosk, and all three TherapyCRM apps have new raised-T icons on the website and in the apps.

New features

  • The front-desk app formerly called Check-In and Attendance is now TherapyCRM Kiosk, with the Home Screen name Kiosk. Its page has moved to therapycrm.io/apps/kiosk, and old links redirect directly to the new page. Existing kiosks keep working after the update.
  • New raised-T app icons in coral for Family, blue for Therapist and teal for Kiosk appear on the website and in the apps.

Improvements

  • App updates Family 1.0.1, Therapist 1.0.1 and Kiosk 1.3.1 bring the new icons and names, with dark and tinted Home Screen icons and Android themed icons. They reach the App Store once Apple approves them.

v1.0.68 ·

A calmer, clearer workspace

A refresh of every staff page and the family portal sign-in screens: consistent headers, readable status colours in light and dark mode, honest loading and error states, and layouts that work on phones and tablets.

New features

  • The sidebar groups pages into People, Care and Operations, with Practice settings pinned at the bottom.
  • Pages that fail to load now say so and offer Try again, instead of showing an empty list or a zero.
  • Client records show medical alerts and allergies above every tab, and clients marked inactive can be reactivated from their record.
  • Sign-in, password reset, multi-factor and temporary-password screens share one clean layout with show-password buttons and clearer password rules.
  • The user menu has My profile, Practice account and a What's new link.

Improvements

  • Buttons, tinted status chips, table rows and menus now respond on hover, and focus rings are visible, in both light and dark mode.
  • Status chips use one set of readable colours across clients, leads, appointments, plans, documents, billing and settings.
  • Dark mode no longer shows unreadable grey chips or bright panels, and it no longer flashes white when a page loads.
  • Page headers, tabs, dialogs, empty states and money amounts look and behave the same across modules.
  • The dashboard KPI cards describe their numbers clearly and never add up amounts in different currencies.
  • Phone and tablet layouts: headers and action rows wrap, wide tables scroll inside their card, form fields no longer zoom the page on iPhone, and the header no longer overlaps at tablet widths.
  • The command palette ranks exact matches first and returns focus to where you were when it closes.

Bug fixes

  • The clients summary cards and the status filters now use the same definition of an active client, so the Inactive filter lists the clients the card counts.
  • Schedule plan fulfilment no longer drops the last day of a plan in North American time zones, so it matches the Utilization tab.
  • The Audit Log entity filter can match related record types together, and every logged type can be filtered.
  • Toasts no longer cover the save bar on long forms, and table dialogs no longer overflow on phones.

v1.0.67 ·

iPhone and iPad app pages

Public pages for the TherapyCRM Check-In, Therapist and Family apps, with App Store links, current screenshots and the Check-In rename.

New features

  • New iPhone and iPad app pages: /apps lists TherapyCRM Check-In, Therapist and Family, and each app has its own page with what it does, App Store screenshots from a fictional demo practice and common questions.
  • The Check-In page links to the App Store and shows the Safari Smart App Banner. Therapist and Family show Coming soon to the App Store until Apple releases them.

Improvements

  • TherapyCRM Attendance is now TherapyCRM Check-In. Its page moved to /apps/check-in, and the old /therapycrm-attendance address redirects there.
  • The site header, footer and Features page link to the app pages, and the sitemap lists them.
  • Search metadata tells Google that TherapyCRM and Therapy CRM are the same brand.

v1.0.66 ·

Support and Check-In pages for the iOS apps

The public support and Check-In pages describe the Check-In, Therapist and Family apps with their App Store links, new icons and current screenshots.

Improvements

  • The Support page covers the TherapyCRM Check-In, Therapist and Family apps: what each app does, App Store links, accounts and notifications, and how a family member deletes their portal sign-in.
  • The Check-In page uses the new Check-In icon and current iPad screenshots from a fictional demo practice.
  • The subprocessors list names the app notification and update services.

v1.0.65 ·

Family portal invitations send again

Family portal invitation emails are delivered again with their Create your portal account button.

Bug fixes

  • Family portal invitation emails were not sent after 1.0.64 because the new invitation layout referred to a practice logo the invitation does not provide. The logo block is removed; the email keeps its branded header with your practice name, the Create your portal account button, next steps and contact details. Invitations created while email was not sent can be resent from the client's Family portal section.

v1.0.64 ·

Family portal invitations you can accept

Family portal invitation emails now include the link to create a portal account, clear next steps, the expiry and your practice's contact details.

Improvements

  • Family portal invitation emails explain what the portal offers, what to do next, and that the link works once and expires in 14 days. They include a copy-and-paste link in case the button does not open, and your practice's phone and email for questions.
  • Mobile apps: the Therapist and Family 1.0.0 store builds now include everything the App Store requires. Installed apps are updated through the App Store, not by this release.

Bug fixes

  • Family portal invitation emails now include a Create your portal account button. Previously the email had one sentence and no link, so families could not accept the invitation from the email. Invitations sent before this release can be resent from the client's Family portal section to deliver a working link.
