TherapyCRM

Release notes

New features, improvements and fixes in each TherapyCRM release.

v1.0.81 ·

Clearer public pages and hosting cleanup

The public pages now describe funding balances, invoice checks and e-signing exactly as TherapyCRM works, new capacity starts taking requests sooner during busy periods, and trust in retired hosting paths has been removed.

Improvements

  • The public landing, features and Ontario Autism Program pages now describe funding balances as figures your team enters and adjusts, invoices generated from sessions as requiring approved documentation, and e-signing as available for clinical documents.
  • When TherapyCRM adds capacity during a busy period, the new capacity starts taking requests sooner.

Bug fixes

  • Links in emails now point to therapycrm.io when no other address is configured.

v1.0.80 ·

New production hosting and tighter document access

TherapyCRM now runs on hosting that adds capacity automatically when practices are busy, and every release takes a fresh database backup first. Older uploaded documents are now opened only through a signed-in session.

Improvements

  • TherapyCRM adds capacity automatically during busy periods, so pages stay responsive when many staff are signed in.
  • Every release now takes a fresh database backup before it changes anything, and returns to the previous version automatically if its checks fail.
  • Scheduled work such as reminders, waitlist checks and email delivery now runs on a managed scheduler, and our team is alerted if a run fails.

Bug fixes

  • Emails that failed to send are retried on schedule instead of waiting for the next new email.
  • Kiosk check-in notifications and Ask assistant conversations are saved completely before the response is sent, so a quiet period can no longer interrupt them.
  • Sign-in attempt limits count each person's connection separately again, so one busy office cannot use up another office's attempts.

v1.0.79 ·

Clearer disclosure of where data is stored

The Subprocessors page now shows where uploaded files and database backup copies are stored, and a nightly backup copy of the TherapyCRM production database is now also kept in Canada.

Improvements

  • The Subprocessors page now lists where uploaded files are stored (United States) and where nightly database backup copies are stored (Germany and Canada), and notes that the database provider keeps seven days of recovery history.
  • A nightly backup copy of the TherapyCRM production database is now also stored in Canada, in addition to the existing copy in Germany.
  • The Privacy Policy was updated on October 1, 2026 to match. It does not require anyone to accept it again.

v1.0.78 ·

Demo request form and clearer public pages

Practices can now request a demo from a form on our website, the TherapyCRM Family app has its own App Store link, public pages are sent in a smaller size, and the welcome email for new users now describes the product accurately.

New features

  • A request-a-demo form on the Book a demo page. Practices in Canada outside Quebec can send their details and a short note, and our team follows up by email. The page reminds visitors not to include client information.

Improvements

  • The Apps page now links to the TherapyCRM Family app on the App Store and shows which apps are available today.
  • Public pages are sent in a smaller size, so they load faster on slower connections.
  • Public pages have clearer titles and descriptions and link to related pages more consistently.

Bug fixes

  • The welcome email for new users no longer shows security badges, a list of upcoming features, or statements about scheduling automation, support response times and trial benefits that did not match what the product provides. Practices that saved their own copy of the welcome email have the same text removed where it appears unchanged.
  • The home page and security page wording about privacy law was clarified.

v1.0.77 ·

One reminder per visit

When a child has more than one session on the same day, families now receive one combined reminder instead of a separate reminder for every session. Booking confirmations and change notices are still sent for each session.

Improvements

  • The day-before reminder lists all of a child's sessions that day with the full time, for example 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM, 3 sessions.
  • The one-hour reminder is sent once before the first of back-to-back sessions and covers the whole stretch. A separate session later the same day still gets its own one-hour reminder.
  • Email, text and app reminders follow the same rules. Sessions at different locations are reminded separately.

Bug fixes

  • Families no longer receive a one-hour reminder for a session that follows straight on from one their child is already attending.

v1.0.76 ·

Native legal pages in the apps and clearer note review routing

The Therapist and Family apps show the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Support inside the app, and web pages opened from the apps show only what the apps need. Session notes without an assigned reviewer reach the right supervisor. New app versions: Therapist 1.1.2 and Family 1.1.4.

New features

  • The Therapist and Family apps show the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in the app, and add a Support screen.

Improvements

  • Web pages opened from the TherapyCRM apps show only sign-in and the pages the apps link to.
  • A session note with no assigned reviewer goes to the practice's only eligible supervisor when there is exactly one; otherwise any eligible approver can review it.

Bug fixes

  • Families no longer see a Reply button on their own comments on practice updates.
